My Hands Jerome there He hung upon the tree looking down with love in His eyes He was looking down at me tears began to fall from my eyes. I sat as the sun slowly fell wondering who could have done this wishing someone would tell me who had betrayed Him with a kiss who could have done this awful deed? to crucify a guiltless man? what a wretch they must be... it was then that I looked at my hands. in my hands I held three nails I swung the hammer again it echoed the sound of my betrayal it echoed the sound of my sin who would kill a guiltless man? what a darkened soul that must be it was then that I saw my hands that wretched man was me. upon the hill of Calvary He showed me why He came. I nailed Him to the tree, but He loves me just the same.
