James the Maniac with the Mad Beat

james with the funky mowhawk

James was perhaps one of the single greatest social influences on my life thus far. Taking up where Sam left off, he helped to open my eyes to a number of new ideas and philosophies. He introduced me to the Beats (Kerouac, Ginsberg, Cassaddy and the like). James became my friend my junior year of high school when I was living in Orange. I hung out with him and his friends most of that year -- listening to punk music and driving around for no good reason at all. James is a Catholic beat-punk and a very intelligent and disillusioned youth. He formerly attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, but as far as I know he is currently travelling the country by train and bus. James is the true bohemian.
